THC, HHC agus CBD cad iad na difríochtaí is mó? 🤔

Welcome to the journey of exploring three fascinating cannabinoids. All three "brothers" are found in a plant called hemp, each having its unique character and story. The trio of THC, CBD, and HHC is used for disease treatment, relaxation, enhancing sports performance, work, relaxation, etc. Therefore, it's important to be able to distinguish them and understand which cannabinoid is legal and which is not. What effects they can have and why, for example, HHC was discovered only in 2020. Let's first introduce this trio:

Introduction to THC, CBD, and HHC

The oldest of all discovered cannabinoids is THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), known for its psychoactive effects. Upon its use, we experience strong reactions and reach new heights of euphoria. That's why it's the subject of disputes due to its illegality in many countries. However, in some states, it has already gained legal status, often due to therapeutic use and sometimes recreational use. A newly discovered cannabinoid, called THC-P, is gaining popularity. Therefore, it's important not to confuse it with traditional THC.

The middle brother, CBD, is characterized especially by its therapeutic nature. It helps us without causing the intoxication associated with THC effects. It's legal in many countries because it does not induce psychoactive effects, and its use is quite broad. From anxiety to supporting sleep or fighting inflammation.

Finally, there is the youngest HHC (hexahydrocannabinol), which has only recently started to be discovered in laboratories and stores. Similar to CBD, it is legal, and you can purchase it in our online shop. HHC can be classified among cannabinoids with psychoactive effects.

Main Differences Between CBD and THC

Both are chemically very similar and have the same formula C21H30O2. The difference lies in their chemical structure.

One of the differences we found above is that CBD does not contain psychoactive substances compared to THC. How does this manifest?

THC directly stimulates CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors, which does not occur with CBD. Therefore, with CBD, there are no changes in consciousness and perception. The good news is that, with the use of CBD, anxiety or short-term memory loss does not occur. CBD can even act as a substance that slows down or stops some of THC's effects.

Cannabis with high THC content is illegal; cannabis with CBD (known as technical hemp) is not listed among prohibited substances, so it can be considered legal. However, CBD can contain THC in small amounts, but it usually is up to a maximum of 1%.

Main Differences Between HHC and THC

In terms of chemical composition, we find again a great similarity in formula. HHC has the formula: C21H32O2. The differences lie again in their chemical structure.

HHC binds to CB1 cannabinoid receptors, which, like THC, cause psychoactive effects. However, it has a weaker chemical affinity, which is likely the reason HHC does not have strong intoxicating effects. In terms of numbers, this can be imagined roughly as 50% of the intensity.

HHC as such was discovered and first synthesized by Roger Adams in 1947. The breakthrough for HHC, however, was in 2020 when it was discovered in small amounts directly in hemp plants. Specifically, it was an extract from their seeds. This made it possible to obtain HHC directly from hemp, not through chemical production.

There is a greater variety of HHC cannabinoids, so make sure to read the article comparing HHC-O, HHC-P, and others.

If you feel a decrease in energy, try, for example, products containing HHC-P.

Main Differences Between HHC and CBD

CBD can be considered "a universal medicine" without psychotropic effects. The flowers come from selected varieties and have a minimum THC content allowed by law. CBD-infused oils are very popular.

You can purchase from us a high-quality H4-CBD flower with a naturally high CBD content. You'll find the product here.

HHC, due to its cannabinoid receptor CB1 content, can be considered a psychotropic substance, and after use, perception changes may occur. However, it has half the intensity of THC, and it can be purchased in the form of dense oil or sweets.
